BJ Fans at Dempsey!
Hehehe. I know the title sounds really wrong, lah.
This entry is supposed to be dated 2nd July which was the last day of my exams.
I met up with my usual post-exam celebration dude, Wei Leen, and we headed to Dempsey for our favourite Ben & Jerry's (yes, before dinner cuz we are so powerful) and slacked there until we got too cold from the ice cream and the air conditioning.
We were going to try the indian food at Samy's Curry but I didn't think I'd be comfortable with the food so we headed to the Red Dot Brewhouse for dinner and drinks instead.
I was also trying to rush out pictures for my GEMS submission the day after so here are my attempted artsy-fartsy shots. (I guess I'm not meant to be a photographer after all; it's totally out of my league and I'm the first to admit it!)

We concluded our (late) night out with various failed attempts to hail a taxi outside Dempsey. Advice for people going there without a car: wait for a cab near the U-turn!

I seriously haven't been doing much in the past months so it's going to be a random photolog that will be posted next.

Clubbing for the first time!
Okay this was on the 18th of June.
I had MST to study for in June, stop looking at me like that!
It wasn't really the first time if you consider SP's Lollipop event in 2008 as my first time but there weren't drinks and I had to leave early so... Yeah. First time clubbing let's move on to that. :D
The gang:

Jasmine, Lian Bei, Siew Hoon, Kai Ting + BF Brandon and their friends Li Ming, Geargina and um so sorry I forgot your name after three months yeah, basically there were nine of us lah.
The plan:
Club at Butter Factory! Because the drinks are powderful and its ladies' night!
We saw this when we reached Butter Factory.
WALAN EH! Underage party also not so crowded can!
Plan B:
Club hop at Clark Quay!
In the cab.
We haven't even started drinking here, it was just hot after walking to Butter Factory!
So we all got cabs down to CQ and hit Zirca. Did I say hit? I meant we QUEUED for Zirca, got 2 drinks there, and decided to dump our bags at Arena, got another drink and decided to drop by Attica.
At Zirca. I know I look wasted all the time but I was just tired okay! The party hadn't started yet! =P

While queuing for Attica, Lian Bei's *AHEM AHEM* came all the way from St James to look for us, I meant her, so she didn't wanna come in with us (she doesn't even drink anyways!), so that left me and Jasmine to go in ourselves.

Jasmine ordered tequilas for us and almost got me drunk right there. I didn't have dinner that day leh!
We rounded off Attica with a screwdriver in the smoking corner where a random Taiwanese guy with an ang mor accent attempted to pick us up- we ran for it after finishing up our drinks.
We went back to Zirca to look for the rest of the gang where we were seated right in front of the speaker and I got all the tequila blasted out of my head. That didn't stop me from turning red though...

Some were having toilet breaks so we were having a happy time waiting for them.
This bugger extra next to me (brother of I forgot her name) kept bugging us the day after!
We got so drunk that we started smooching each other... NOT!

Most of the time they weren't on the dancefloor with us, instead coupling up at a table in Zirca or Lunar instead.
Most of what I remember was running between the dancefloor and drinking in Rebel and drinking in Zirca cuz the two clubs were connected and we had shitloads of free drink tickets (8 ladies X 5 X 2 clubs plus our earlier club hopping drinks). So when we got bored of drinking we went to dance, when we got thirsty we went to drink. Yeah.
I originally intended to leave around 3 cuz thats the time the clubs were supposed to close but they extended to 4 or 5am so I reached home at 5.30 and MAN SUPERCHERRY WAS PISSED OFF.
Sorry~~ It's just too much fun dancing with friends especially Jasmine and her Saturday Night Fever moves! LOL.
*On a side note, why does my layered hair CURL when I let my hair straighten out and it STRAIGHTENS when I perm my hair? WTH??
*BTW this was during the stage where I changed my hair colour from red to copper/brown-ish and let it straighten out. For those who give a shit about my hair. :D

Time to update
I have a presentation later on but my beloved groupmate is going to be late so I'll sneak in a very short post for now.
(I'm going to have a lot of post-dated entries, I swear.)
School has been a bitch and a pain in the ass; I'm turning into a full-time nerd; thrown into rehab from shopping and I've just been let out for 2 days.
Hehehe. I met up with my dear WIFE (Pricillia!!!!!!!!!) on Tuesday and Wednesday to catch up and shop. I managed to get what I'm looking for so I'm pretty happy but my poor wife didn't buy anything except a TWILIGHT DVD.

The last time we met was on my birthday celebration last year. And we talked so much about everything that we hardly had time to shop and totally forgot to take pics. Damnit lor, I brought my camera out both days but didn't use. =.=
And I realised how much I've conformed to the environment I've been confined to since last year. To the extent that I'm a little uncertain how to behave even around an old and dear friend.
I've also realised that I've forgotten what it is like to hang around a BEST FRIEND. I have friends in school, yes, but somehow there's always this barrier around. I never understood why, but its always been there. But with a BEST FRIEND, you hear and say things that have never and will never be heard by anyone else.
I guess its just that being in poly doesn't give us girls a chance to share experiences that bring secondary school friends together. There's no craziness, not much of happy times, no deep shit to get into (much), no shared CCAs, nothing to organize together...
Okay, enough reminiscence. I just feel happy fit to burst because I've spent the last two days in such great company with a supportive, loving and trustingfriend wife. :D
Will update with pictures when I'mfree not so busy.

When I'm let loose...

I spent almost two hundred bucks in TWO DAYS on impulse buys: a pair of converse shoes, two Uniqlo tops and a bracelet from Angelicious Creations.
I think I shouldn't be let out of the house and shopping websites must be banned on my laptop.
Anyway, I finally got to meet up with Jesxeca again today!
She had this crazy urge to go to Tampines One so we met up at about 12PM and took the train there.
(I swear I hate taking trains. Firstly the Singapore summer heat drenches me in sweat, then there are the crying babies, screaming kids, noisy adults, smelly people, old aunties who pretend not to understand arrows, lines and colours, and all those men who refuse to give up seats to people in need. Seems like our country is in serious need of a courtesy campaign.)
Back to the story. Halfway there, we got hungry (it's a one hour plus trip by train OKAY) so we decided to detour to the airport for some yummy Popeyes Chicken. Then halfway through the meal, we decided that we both needed a caffeine boost so we headed to Wang Cai (? Did I get it right?) in T3 for drinks while I gobbled down a couple of soft-boiled eggs. Yum. Yes, now you know I really eat like a pig. I had that immediately after a full fast-food meal.
By the time we hit Tampines One it was already almost 5PM and Jesxeca had lessons at 6.30PM. Booboo. But at least we still managed to grab a couple of pieces each! Guess we're going to have to make another trip there before our holiday ends so we can really go shopping.
=) End of story.
