Term 2 Intermediate 1 Pole Lesson 1 (Make Up)

Did the make up lesson in Jasmine's class where she got us to do a lot of tiring stuff before the actual routine (after that I realised that it came from the Intermediate 3 routine from Term 4.)

Started off with:
Right leg turn
Kate Moss-right leg turn-layback <- hurts like a (*&^%$%^&*%$!!!
Back rolls <- got me bruises upon bruises.. still visible a week later!

Practiced:
Inverted stag

I need to improve on my sitting and layback.. For some reason the skin between my legs hurt so easily I can't stay on for more than 2 seconds! :(

Routine:
Still the same as Friday. Different teaching speed I suppose?

Skipped school and pole today because I'm feeling terrible. :(
Kinda sucks to be female sometimes.

On the other hand, good news today!

Wander

Hey, I'm not slow on the news but I just didn't want to blog about stuff that makes me sad.

But so far all I've seen of the abused dog, Wander, have been pictures, so there wasn't much to say except the abuser was an inhumane jerk, etc etc etc.

I just watched a short video of Wander and she's so tame and cute despite her terrible injuries.. It broke my heart just to see it. I wonder how mankind came to produce someone so heartless and cruel to do that to a lovely, though stray dog.

I really hope someone saw him doing the deed and will now come forward for the $10,000 reward to freaking land the abuser's ass in hot shit!!
(Maybe his friend has been hiding the news to protect him but will turn greedy? I really hope so!)

And I also hope that in future when I've got my own place I'll be able to get a dog that's just as calm and easygoing as Wander.

Term 2 Intermediate 1 Pole Lesson 2!

YAY the song is Burn It To the Ground!
(Lesson 1 to be made up on Monday next week :))

Started off with some quick stretching and warm ups, then it was into perfecting routine moves!

First off- reverse stag-somethingy-front right split
Secondly- Jamella fan kick
This hurts my joints like hell so I'm going to cheat a bit by doing a left kick then right fan kick.
Thirdly- Inverts!
Can't believe I used to be so tired by inverts. :D

Routine:
Shake hips X8
Butt roll (R,L) X2
Left leg up on pole, look front, hip roll X2
Reverse stag-somethingy-front right split (2 bars)
Left leg up, kick X2
Open split, trucker
Open split, roll over to R, get onto knees
Lean back, flip hair, left leg up, hip roll X2
Sexy get-up, kick, stroke leg up, butt roll R to L
Jamella fan kick + hair flip
Invert, come down, onto knees, hair flip

Term 2 Pole Practice 1!

Met up with Sunita for Int 1 but Jasmine asked us to go ahead and practice so we did!

Did mostly warm ups and stretchings, and then some inverted Vs and YES I FINALLY GET HOW TO DO SITTING Vs WTF been doing it wrong all the while. Grr!

My splits are back to a foot off the floor!
But at least I can still touch my toes after warm up..
And my open split while sitting is still about 120 degrees. :)

Term 1 Pole Practice 1!

Super backdated post lol.

I went to BPSS, waited for Sunita, did some warm ups, spin climbs, vanessas, sliding vanessa, inverts, inverted splits, inverted Vs, and called it a day.

Am glad I still managed to keep 90% of my strength!
(Though not the flexibility and stamina lol.)
