Flexibility 5! (Make up)

I was so tired by this class I hardly remember anything except my splits still suck.

And we did some partner back stretching with nearly broke my back..
And the towel stretching thing.. I think my arms nearly came out of their sockets.

*goes back to mugging*

Oh, looks like I don't have time to go for any more classes.. What a waste of money. :(

Intermediate 1 Pole Lesson 6! (Make up)

Doing my inverted side split was like buying Toto.
Sometimes can make it sometimes cannot. :(

New moves learnt:
I forgot the name. LOL!
It's just like a opposite Vanessa.. Leg goes around the pole from the back instead of the front. I have the feeling I can't do it if I'm not wearing heels 'cos I'll break the skin on my foot. O_O

Kate Moss- reverse stag- IFTN.

Added choreography:
Get-up
Body roll against the pole
Bow

Jeez, wouldn't have expected the ending moves to be THAT DIFFICULT. LOL!

Pole Practice 2!

Managed to do my inverted V, inverted front split and inverted center split!
Did some of the choreography also- my timing sucks -_-

I can't balance as well when I'm wearing my heels! :(

Intermediate 1 Pole Lesson 5!

Wee! Feeling not as weak already!

New moves:
Kate moss-reverse stag-Vanessa-spin climb-sit-sitting V!!!

So going to use that in the Amateur Night choreography.

Added choreography:
Invert
Handstand
Front split
Side split
Lie panting on the floor

*sigh*
Not enough strength to last doing the side split, plus I can't balance!!
Can't go straight into an inverted V either.
Pole practice on Monday!! WOOHOO!

Intermediate 1 Pole Lesson 4! (Make Up)

It's so weird the choreography changed and I got totally lost and fall all over the place or lose my timing completely.

Best part is the last lesson I went for, the choreography was taught exactly the same way it was but other classes all learnt the new one already! WTF.

New moves learnt:
(From Sunita before class)
Kneeling into low knee spin
High knee spin into frank get down
Sitting sideways with bent knees
(Why does sitting on the pole always hurt like a biatch?!?!)

(During class)
Upside down V
Upside down side split
Open legged Jamella

New choreography:
Butt rolls: RLRR LRLL
L leg back + up on pole + 2 hip rolls
Reverse stag, land in front of pole in truck girl position
Roll L, push up and kneel slowly
Head roll + get up
Jamella (land on left of pole)
High spin climb + hair flip + split at back of pole
L leg up + get up into squat position
2 hip rolls + stand up
Invert
Handstand + get down into kneeling position
Head roll + get up
Butt rolls: RLRR LRLL
L leg back + up on pole + 2 hip rolls
Reverse stag, land in front of pole in truck girl position
Roll L, push up and kneel slowly
Head roll + get up
Open-legged Jamella (land on left of pole)
High spin climb + hair flip + split at back of pole
L leg up + get up into squat position
2 hip rolls + stand up

ARGH the upside down split hurts my ******! I need to find a way to use my abs to support my body weight against the pole damnit!

Plus I busted my back landing on one of the bolts AND got nasty scratches from all the sand on the floor. And also fell in all sorts of weird positions cos I was feeling weakkkkkkkkkkk. Damn period.

National Secret!

Disclaimer: This post was made in jest and should not be taken seriously in any way.

AHA! I had a major epiphany recently about why Singaporeans are all so unobservant, insensitive and unresponsive!

There has been a national breakout of the ZOMBIE VIRUS! It started a couple of years ago... But nobody knows about it because everyone has been trying to hush it up! There is high suspicion that the virus has been brought into the country by foreigners from a certain country. (Cannot be named here, just in case..)

Proof 1
Look around you outside and observe: in shopping malls, Singaporeans can only walk straight and even bang into you! In comparison, foreigners (most noticeably Caucasians, but only because you can't really differentiate between Malaysians and Singaporeans) move out of the way long before collision time.

And it is quite obvious which people brought the Zombie Virus into Singapore, and you can find out for yourself using a very simple experiment!

In a shopping mall or outside, try moving out of the way of someone else walking towards you. There will be one of three responses:
1. Person continues walking straight staring blankly. (the infected Singaporean!)
2. Person got out of your way long before you got out of theirs. (clean foreigner)
3. Person walks into your path despite the large clearance you gave them. (the original infected!!!!)

Proof 2
Still in the shopping mall or MRT station:
Lots of Singaporeans walking super slowly blocking up the entire pathway, apparently unaware of anything going on around them. Even when going up close to them and saying "Excuse me!" at an obviously audible volume, they STILL did not notice you and continue on their slow zombie walk, completely oblivious to the fact that the entire pathway ahead of them is clear BECAUSE they are blocking the way.

Proof 3
On the road:
Driving without knowing what is going on around them. *sigh*
Anyone ever noticed? You flash your signal to change lane and NOBODY EVER LETS YOU IN. That's because they are ZOMBIES and can't see your signal!

Try driving in Malaysia. It's totally different and everyone has 10x the reaction speed of Singaporean drivers.

Case in point: Rainy weather. The moment it rains in Singapore we get at least 5 major accidents causing traffic jams around the country. If they can't even brake in time when it's raining, they MUST be infected!
(You don't get pile ups like that in Malaysia when it rains. Proven.)

This is why I never drive in Singapore.

Proof 4
Introduction to the BIG YELLOW LINES:
Remember being in Primary schools where there were big yellow lines drawn to split the stairs into two and arrows to show where you should be walking up and down? Remember the canteens where the same big yellow lines were also drawn to show where the queue should be?

And you know those big yellow lines worked because Primary school kids are always obedient and already have the IQ to follow simple instructions, as well as lines and arrows.

Those big yellow lines disappear as you enter Secondary school, because by then people know how to behave properly without being treated like Primary school kids.

MRT Stations:
NOBODY understands lines and arrows in the MRT Stations. EVERYDAY, ALL THE TIME, you see people standing right smack in the middle of the doors before they even open.
Question: HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING TO GET IN IF YOU DON'T LET PEOPLE OUT???

The only possible reasons I can come up with for people not understanding lines and arrows are:
1. They are aliens.
2. Their IQ is lower than Primary school kids'.
(which is none because zombies have no brains!)

Since people in the MRT stations look like human beings, Option 2 is the only probable answer.

**********

Okay, now that I have proven my case, you must be wondering: HOW TO AVOID BECOMING ONE OF THE INFECTED???

It's simple:
1. Avoid cursing at the zombies or they will turn around and eat your brain.
2. Never ever be completely absorbed using your cellphone in public areas. Whilst you are unaware of your surroundings, the zombies will attack and you will become one of them!
3. Just avoid over-populated areas. Zombies just love to gather in crowds to celebrate the non-existence of their brains together.

Good luck surviving in Singapore! :)

Flexibility 4!

ARRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHH.

I bet Yohanna doesn't have joints at all 'cos hers can go like 360 degrees around or something! :@

Was a painful day of trying to open up our joints with butterfly partner stretches and swastika positions and splitszxzxzx.

:( I still suck!

Sliding knee spin

Added choreography:
Butt rolls: RLRR LRLL
Leg back and up on pole + 2 hip rolls
Backward sliding Vanessa with split legs; land facing back

(HAHAHA OKAY so actually it's just a repeat of the last two classes. WHATEVER!) :D

I am super pooped.
BF came to pick me up and we went to Bugis for dinner and cabbed back.
LOOOOOOOOOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Flexibility 3!

Hmm. Not been feeling well this week so can't remember much...
Class was taken by Yohanna, lots of splits as usual and I'm almost the worst in class, as usual... damnit, even people taking it for the first time are better off. Damn my joints and stiff muscles!

Front splits are still at a painful 5 inches off the ground and side splits even further. *sigh* My knee ligaments hurt, I can't push it too hard or else I won't even be able to walk. Looks like I need more time to get there :(

Sitting Vs are definitely improved at about 140 degrees but been stuck there for a couple of weeks now. Same goes with the lying down splits.

I can't stretch properly today (one day after), the muscles and joints are aching!

Thursday, October 28, 2010

WEEEEEEE!

BF's back! HAPPY TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Am now bored at home alone cos he went to collect his luggage and dump his stuff at home. :(

Shall do my 100 splits!

Flexibility 2!

I was so tired last night that I didn't even manage to blog!
*HUGE YAWN*

It was awesome and painful at the same time!
We did lots of partner stretching and splits!

For the staring-at-each-other's-asshole stretching I managed to kiss my knee with difficulty.. IT HURT LIKE CRAP!! But Linna is such an awesome teacher. :D

Lying down partner stretches- from the front both legs are now about 140ish degrees open! Sideways for my injured right leg was about 90 degrees *sob* while my left leg was about 135 degrees.

Splits are still about 5 inches off the floor (or maybe less now!)

Oh I am so happy at the improvement! I love everyone who helped me and even those who didn't! :D:D

Term 4 Pole Practice!

Added choreography:
Spin climb + hair flip + push off + split at the back of pole

Get up into squat position + 2 hip rolls
Stand up + Invert + Slide down + hand walk facing right of pole

Okay I'm so tired now I have nothing to say. -_-

Somebody's Hen Party!

Wee! Went to studio after school (yeah law lecture on a Saturday, FML) to help out with a hen party! IT WAS FUNNNNNNN.

We dressed up with corsets, skirts and hair bands!
Did some warm ups, dressed the girls up and took a mad lot of photos with different costumes and did a pole dance + striptease choreography, with videos for them!
Oh they also got to drink one shot each of cranberry vodka. :D Helps to loosen up!

Choreography (I forgot the song!):
(Starts at back of chair facing front)
Butt roll (RLRL)
Right leg on chair
Stroke leg down + up
Hip roll X4
Walk to pole
Butt roll (RLRR LRLL)
Pole walk (R, L)
Body roll X2
Hit butt out X3 while lowering body
Squat hip roll X2, get up
Collapse knee (RLRL)
Knee spin!
Walk to front of chair facing front:
Butt roll (RLRL)
Right side of shirt off followed by left
Butt roll L to R
Pass shirt down with R hand to L hand at back and hold on
Stroke shirt down leg and back up
Wave shirt in circular motion over head X2 and toss

Jane, Sunita and me took our own photos too! Fun fun day!
It was awesome helping to pose the group of girls!
Totally my kinda thing. ;)

OHH. I forgot to mention we had an impromptu performance and one by Jasmine as well.
I seriously wonder if she's a secret stripper! SO DARN HOT MAN! PHEW!

Intermediate 1 Pole Lesson 1!

Wee! We started with what we ended in Beginners!

Today's warm up was SEXAYYYYYYYYY! Lots of rolls!
Front back sideways clockwise and anti-clockwise. ;)

Started off with a couple of Jamellias and Frank-Vanessa-Spin Climb-Vanessa-Franks.
By the time I reach the second Vanessa my hands started sweating and slipping off the pole lah! :(

And then we did some 'pull-up's and sits and lean backs for strength training:
HURTS LIKE A BITCH ON THE SKIN BETWEEN THE THIGHSSSSSSS!

After that was some torturous Franks with outstretched legs (I'll call it Frank V2 from now on) + sliding Frank V2s!

ANNNNNNNNNNND we did inverts today! I got it the first time 'cos I've been doing backflips on parallel bars so it's kinda like the same. Hook left leg, right leg on and then slide down to land. :D
My shoulder muscles feel like they're gonna cramp though.
(The second time I went up my left heel got stuck on the pole and I had to invert using my right leg to release it then go back to the normal invert -_-)

Choreography:
Butt rolls: RLRR LRLL
Leg back and up on pole + 2 hip rolls
Backward sliding Vanessa with split legs; land facing back
Legs up and sit up slightly; roll to left + L head roll
Cat pounce
Head roll + Stripper get-up
Jamellia
Collapse knee: RRLL RLRL

Term 4: Flexibility 1!

Huhuhu~ It's a new term at BPS and today was as awesome as always!

Reached really early and got abused by Jasmine as free labour as usual (haha kidding lah I didn't do much anyways).

Today's class was taken by Yohanna and was ... PAINFUL!

I can grab my feet by the heels and pull now. :)
Sitting split was 120 from the start, didn't really pull open because it was rather rushed... Anyway I didn't need to because later on was HELL!
I didn't do the right front split properly (never have, I *just* discovered how to do it the right way WTF LOL) so it was like still 7 inches off the floor and painful as heck, left front split I finally did it right and pulled it to about 5 inches off the floor.
Split against the wall was about 140ish degrees, big improvement!
Split up against the wall while lying on the floor was about the same.. PAINFUL!

Anyway, I can really tell the difference now cos it doesn't hurt now where it used to hurt like crazy just attempting to touch my toes. Can palm down on the floor already! :D:D
I am happyyyyyyy!

But of course there is lots and lots of room for improvement~ I'll never stop taking flexibility classes!

Ha, my weird joints... All the girls can hold a towel by the ends over their heads and pull it down to butt level, EXCEPT FOR ME! I checked with my guy friends, they can't do it either.... WTF IS WRONG WITH MY JOINTS?! Am I transsexual or something?!

The Prince is back!

We went to the airport to receive my big bro today! It's the first time we've done that since the first time he came back from Australia.. which was like 3 years ago? I don't even remember how long he's been gone.

Oh it's good meeting up with my brothers, it's like having two soul twins with me and we can communicate via thoughts and nobody else knows what we're thinking! AWESOME SHITZ!

Another incident I want to highlight- it was so hilarious all 3 of us cracked up halfway through dinner in a restaurant.

My big bro started off talking about STOMP cos some articles there are so retarded it's funny, so I mentioned the most retarded article I remember which is the one where a girl got so confused at the crossing next to Sim Lim. Why? Because there's an overhead bridge AND a traffic light crossing so she couldn't make up her mind which one to use. LOL! WTFNESS TTM RIGHT!

Anyway, my brother mentioned this comment on that post that I was talking about- someone gave instructions to help her: go up the bridge and jump off it.....
It sounded kinda familiar. Then I realised I wrote it! LOL!
OMG man we are siblings indeed. =D

Graduation night! (Miniterm Week 4)

WOOHOOOOOO. Didn't mess up at all today! WEE!

18 bruises and 2 new scratches today. *sigh*

I can't believe just last night I said I'd never perform two dances on the same day again, and then I did it today! I DIDN'T MESS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT!

Somehow was very relaxed, stable and confident today.. Must be just purely nerves and hyperventilation last night.

I forgot to charge my camera. Photos and videos are all with my senior.. Can't wait for her to send them to me!

I am so in love with Glamour Baby!!! *swoons*

And yes it feels awesome to perform and even awesomer (?) to perform well! AM HAPPY! :D

----------------------------------------------------
Served as a terrible receptionist in the early evening with Sunita my dancelover.
I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE'S CANTONESE TOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Seh Ling was super nice and helped me take photos and videos because my camera battery was going flat.

Made lots of new friends today while interacting in the waiting room!

Crista was super duper cute and we had photos together!
We were hugging for ages because our camerawoman was having shaky hands.

Jasmine carried me when I said I wanted a photo with her. Piangz!
(Halfway through rehearsal she suddenly thanked me for 'being a big sister'. EH?!)

I love everyone!!!!!!!!!! MEGA HUGS!

Graduation Night! (Beginners Week 8)

WOOHOO~ We all got our certificates!
*waves both madly around*

BUT!!!! NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN! Will I take two different dance courses a term and perform both on the same night!!!!

It's even harder when both dances are so fucking similar yet different! And some more we had to perform both one right after the other!

I messed up twice during the actual performance- for Miniterm, after my Kate Moss I landed wonky and my shoe went twisted... Lucky I managed to save myself from a sprain by grabbing the pole and correcting it. I bet I had a major OH SHIT look on my face though.

Second one was in the Beginners', instead of a spin climb I did a Kate Moss (messed up with Miniterm) and then halfway corrected it to a spin climb. Haha I even said OH SHIT. -_-

All in all it was still an awesome night!
Love the crowd and all, hahaha the catcalls when we did body rolls~
I haven't had a performance since choir times!
(If you exclude Taekwondo plank breaking demos and ass kicking skits...)

Call me an attention whore if you like, but it feels good to perform (once I get over quaking for an hour after finishing the performance -_-).

Dental, Lipstick and Daiso

Went to Vivo today for my dental..
Actually I've completed my InvisAlign treatment (10 months) but there is some refinement (6 months) to do.

ARGH. The cutting of my teeth really hurt today, I must have been chilling out without pain in my jaw for too long (a month)! My ears were ringing while it was being done. Luckily the new aligners don't hurt.. YET!

I realised I've been staying away from guys so much that I'm no longer used to it when one sits next to me (in class/on the bus). And then today when my dentist (okay fine, orthodontologist <- can't believe I spelt that right the first time!) removed my protective specs for me I almost freaked out when he came so near. @_@"

SOMEBODY has gotta be happy about this. *coughDENZILcough*

--------------------------------------------------------------
Lipstick Hunt!
I walked the entire cosmetics area of TANGS hunting for my lippie.. Bought one from MAC but it still wasn't the shade I was looking for. Pfft. Did some online research and decided on what I'm gonna get already. :D

A light pale pink and a dark berry. So extreme, but if I wanted something in between I'd stick to my au naturale lip colour. *shrugs*

--------------------------------------------------------------
DAISO
FOOD. I bought $26 (13 items) worth of snacks. *sigh*

BUFFET DINNER!

I bet the restaurant loses money whenever my godparents bring me to go have buffet.
HEHEHE.

It was Hokkaido buffet again today because the food there is soooooooo gooooood that I'm feeling hungry just thinking about it.

Had the usual:
chawanmushi
sake shashimi BELLY (WOOHOO)
ebi tempura X2 plates
grilled mushrooms
spider temaki (I KNOW RIGHT?! Hand roll at a buffet! *eye roll*)
clam miso soup
shishamo
salted mackerel
grilled beef teriyaki
HAMACHI FISH HEAD <- This is so fucking good man. The chef is a fish head pro I swear!
edamame
... and I seriously can't remember what else because I was eating so fast.
(All the above mentioned is what I had by myself :D)

I had lemon sorbet toooooooooo. Heavenly with honeyed lemon rinds.
ME LIKEY.
*is hungry now* =3

Went for a drive around Dempsey after and saw Jim Thompson, a Thai restaurant with awesome ambience! Looks like we found our next foodie outing place! ^_^

Pole Practice 2!

Total of 19 bruises and 13 cuts as of today. -_-
Bruises I don't mind so much cos they heal within a week and leave no scars, but the scratches! OMG. And I shouldn't even be getting them! It's because other members wear their walking shoes into the studio for practice thats why we all get cuts and scratches! DAMNIT!

We managed to get closer to the right timing today for both dances, it's almost perfect now. Sunita just got her heels, OMG man I have no idea how she's going to get used to it so soon.

We wanted to join Amateur Night as a twin act but my dear BF doesn't want me to perform in public.. Oh well. I completely understand. I was just quite excited and hoping to choreograph with my dance bestie. But we can still do it for fun! ^_^

I did at least 20 Jamellas today and didn't die yet, but I lost strength at the end of the session and came off the spin climbs landing on the floor like an elephant. Shit. Haha. I watched my videos, I didn't do that last week!

Oh, videoed My Boyfriend's Back today! The last video really helped me to improve a lot and today was much much better. I am happy!

Jamella left-handed is better now but I can't raise myself away from the pole, right-handed was easy and I can open up my legsssss! WOOHOO! I need to train my left arm more. :)

____________________________________

Sunita is working part-time as a receptionist in BPS. I wanted to join too but I don't wanna screw up my exams and all.. But I haven't been studying either. Oh what the hell. Anyway it's more inconvenient for me cos I stay a freaking hour plus away, and if I don't have class on that day...... -_______- you get the idea.

Oh, I signed up for Flexibility and Intermediate 1, but I am totally itching to join Strength and Conditioning as well as Beginners because they are doing Tik Tok by Kesha and the dance is so damn smoking hot! DAMNIT I'M SO FUCKING JEALOUS. :(

WHY MUST I HAVE EXAMS IN DECEMBERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. FML!

KBOX and pork chops

Even though I slept really late last night at 4am (no I wasn't studying.. insomniac me was trying so badly to sleep) I got up in time to meet Amber for some window shattering karaoke!

Sidetrack:
Amber got lost on the way to meet me outside NYNY in Lot One (don't ask me how LOL) and wasn't checking her phone (GRR HOW MUCH I HATE THAT) so I was stuck there waiting for her for about 10 minutes..

All wrapped up like a dumpling in one of those loosely fit knitted tops and a spag top inside and MAKEUPLESS.. I was standing right next to a pillar without even enough space for a human being to squeeze past.

And while I was typing out a message to my BF, there was this UNCLE who was walking past then suddenly decided to squeeze past me and the pillar so I hastily shifted back, and then he said (in Mandarin): "Stop calling and pressing your phone, just come with me."

And then he walked right past but kept turning back to look at me. Zz.

I was almost going to say, "Ah peh I think my punch will kill you, you know?" -_- What a disgusting turd to have started my day with. Got me all frustrated during the first few minutes spent with Amber. RAWR!!

Back to our day:
Had a swell time in KBOX CCK. It's beautiful inside and the service was superb. There was great improvement in the food as well as the fake music video qualities.
(The video they made for Telephone made me laugh like crazy. SERIOUSLY.)
Also, no more remote controls, all changed to touch screen already! We were both klutzes so we had to ask for some teaching assistance about the new system. (It's pretty different from the old one.)

I might not be the lark I once was but at least I managed to survive the day with the help of some hot honey lemon! ^_^

Headed to Lot One for some shopping, bought 3 tank tops and an entire bedsheet set at a sale (yeah, so aunty style I know, but it was cheap and felt amazing for the threadcount!) then lugged it all around the mall 'cos Amber was hunting for shoes and presents.

Eventually she gave up (okay lah was quite fast 'cos she knew my damn stuff was heavy) and then we headed to Ya Kun 'cos I was peckish.. Had an awesome chat there.

She also accompanied me to NTUC 'cos I wanted to cook dinner for my mum~ :D
Went to buy pork chops, I had no idea how to pick them, so luckily Amber was around to help. I was also looking for Soju but as usual, NTUC didn't have it.. Had to get Sake as replacement. (I forgot to buy lemons damnit.)

Realised we overestimated the time required for NTUC-ing (I am NOT an aunty -_-) and still had time to chillax so I brought her to my house and showed her some of the poledance videos I have. WEEEEEE.

I had taken off my outer layer the moment I got home 'cos it was so freaking hot.. So when I was going to send Amber to the MRT she said, "It's okay, send me to the bus stop will do so that those se peh pehs (dirty old perverts) won't keep looking at you." WAAAAAH. I have such a considerate friend. *TOUCHED*

And just in case whoever is reading thinks I'm full of myself for the above paragraph, it was my friend BFF who said it not me. And dirty old perverts have no taste and look at anyone that remotely looks female anyway. -_-

-------------------------------------
It's cooky time!

It's not the first time I cooked this week!

On Tuesday I cooked beef for the first time..
Found this so called way to make even shitty beef taste good online.
Bought a shitty piece of $2 chuck from NTUC, prepared it and PAN SEARED!
The recipe I saw overstated the timing (sigh) and I already cut down on it but still one side was well done and the other was medium.
My mum can't eat beef but she said it smelt good..
(She got so hungry that she had to go get cake to eat while watching me go OOH THIS IS SO DAMN GOOD while chomping on my beef =X)
My own verdict is THUMBS UP YUMMY! Except I got careless and didn't wash away the salt thoroughly so eating the sides was like eating fried salt FML LOL.
Oh, I made a side dish of mashed potato with butter and salt. YUMS.

My pro chef big brudda gave me some tips for the cooking, so next time I'll definitely try again!

Today! I cooked pork chops (for the first time too)!
No magical way this time, just a Soju sauce recipe which I had to improvise and replace the Soju with Sake as above mentioned. And I didn't use lemon juice because I forgot to buy lemons. -_- Poor Mum!
Bought two shitty pieces of $4 pork chop from NTUC, prepared it and PAN FRIED!
Again, the recipe overstated the timing and I ended up with really dry meat.
I also fucked up the sauce 'cos Western recipes use different measurements and I had no idea how much was 'half a cup' of Soju, so I just used a bowl and agak-ed the Sake..
After the stated 2 minutes of medium heat on the recipe, there were only Sake-flavoured onions left on the pan. -______-
Where did my Sake sauce all go?!?! I think I breathed it all in, no wonder I feel drunk now. HAHAHA.

My dad's verdict: OVERCOOKED! Don't follow Western recipes! They dunno how to cook one! Always overcooked! Cut down the time by 1 min during the high heat!

My mum's verdict: MMM. Ok lah not too bad for first time. *nom nom nom*
.
.
.
*adds a bit of black sauce*

My verdict: BLEURGH I need a drink to swallow this dry crap. :( *sniffle*

I think everyone reading this post should head out to buy any type of lottery because not only did I:
1. Cook; but I also;
2. Washed up everything in and on the sink. *gasp*
GO BUY TOTO, 4D, Big Sweep and anything else you can think of.
CONFIRM DIO. :D
(I'm allergic to detergent so I usually don't do any dishes.
Like maybe once in 6 years?)

Sidenote:
I ALWAYS get super worried when I'm pan frying stuff because of the oil... I'm so afraid of splattering oil cos I'm super sensitive to hot stuff (haha sounds wrong eh) and it's really painful when it splatters on my arm or even face. OMG! Not to mention blisters if it's a big splash.

So I always spam lots of paper towels (I need to learn how to cut down on that.. I think I'll use up an entire tree just to cook dinner for my whole family in future) to pat the meat really really really dry before cooking. It works! Not much of a splatter. :)

Oh, and a new discovery today. Cutting onions doesn't make me tear up at all. I wonder why?

ZOMG I didn't know MINITERM has a graduation night performance as well.
I'm SO dead!! I keep screwing up the moves for some reason.
Confusing it with Beginner's routine. :(

And also I think I strained my left wrist (again) today.. Very off form.. Feeling weak and lousy. But in the video even though I was pooped as hell it still looks not too bad. :)

My stupid camera only takes static sounds if the sounds are too damn loud so I had to edit the song in myself... Which is bad because I can't find the right version of the song! T_T
(Spent 3-4 hours on it WTF)

Beginner POLE Lesson 7

WAHHHHHHH. It's the last lesson then next week is the performance already!
*NERVOUS*

Flexibility:
Today's class was by Crista again!
My sitting split is like... 120 degrees without help.
My front and side splits are still about 7 inches off the floor. *sob*

I think I might never be able to do a split cos I have weird joints...
It's super obvious when I'm doing the Vanessa cos my legs can't support me at all at that angle and when I arch my back it's like my joints will break apart. :(
And I also have an injury on my right leg joint so when I do my left leg front split it really really hurts. But my left leg happens to be more flexible than my right leg too so I'm pretty much screwed in the splits area.

Also, when I do the butterfly while lying down it felt like my pelvis was freaking going to crack. What's wrong with my bone structure! T_T

On a happier note, I can now touch my toes without pain and I can PULL my heels off the floor while sitting down without feeling like my hamstrings and back muscles are tearing apart. Wee!

Routine:
The routine is pretty much the same but my timing was awfully screwed up. We had a mini performance today with the Intermediate 2 class and I already had stage fright! HAHAHA. I'm so dead for next Wednesday! >.< Jasmine put me up on the stage and I was like ZOMG don't screw up don't screw up PLEASE!!! But I kinda messed up the timing and I realised when we swap poles and the pole is slippery from someone else's sweat I tend to forget my moves! OMGGGGGGGGG.
*prays for a dry handed partner for graduation night*

I'm signing up for Flexibility and Intermediate 1. :D
And as a sidenote, I got the feeling I can do a pull up already! I shall go try.. Soonish.

Pole Practice!

YAY! Went for an awesome pole practice session with Sunita (2) just now!
(And I have the cutest little bruises on my legs now, 10 in total and one MEGA BRUISE on my thumb.)

We managed to complete both our Beginners' and Mini Term choreography! By complete I mean remember and not really fuck up.

And OMG Sunita is like my total dance soulmate cos we keep fucking up the timing at the same time! I still wonder if we missed out anything.

We also practiced all the tricks as well as left handed tricks because our arms are getting imbalanced... Unfortunately my surgeried wrist is weak so I shan't attempt to use too much force on it.
(Jamella was super easy with my right hand supporting at the bottom, with the left hand it's as much as I can do to not make a constipated face -_-)

Oh, and having a partner for stretching and doing everything is so awesome, some more we are like always thinking of doing the same thing at the same time! Partners forever~! Hahaha!

OMG and our teacher Jasmine was mega cute when she saw us in Pole Prac!
Initally she kept distracting me with "Eh, your bag very nice leh!" and "Hey, cute skirt! Is it from Guess? I think I have the same one!", then after I told her it was a cheap one she went like "Argh cheap ones are too short for me!".
Then after that she was like "EH! Make sure you and Sunita stand in front ALL THE TIME AH! You two are SOLID man!" and I mentioned Sunita was meeting me for practice: "Good good! You two practice together good! Sunita is a good girl!". LMFAO.
Good girl leh Sunita!!! =X I bet we're just the same. =P

_______________________________________

Sunita wasn't free to have dinner with me but we walked together to Bugis and she showed me where the Face Shop is and hurried off to meet her sister... But after I made my purchases I got lost on the way to the taxi stand so she came to show me the way again. LOL. She was so spot-on about me not being able to find my way home! BLAHHH. >.<

PS. I'm signing up for Intermediate 1. But BPS is so cruel to non-Beginners they dont schedule Flexibility and classes one after another! FML. :(

WTF FREAKY

Okay, I've been a lazy ass and haven't checked my Facebook messages for like 2 years. And I have about 4,000 messages... After clearing out spam and other stuff I realised that I have a LOT of freaky messages from freaky guys. I counted 55 messages with a lot of repeats. I sure hope they aren't reading my blog... :/

SHIT

I think my medication is affecting me.
I'm in such a terrible mood.
*kicks rock*

I hate me.
I hate you too.
Damn it all.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The below was written in a much better mood. LOL.

I had a once-in-a-lifetime experience today... DIO JIAO SAI. WTF.
I either have weekly Food Poisoning Fridays or Days of Ultimate Suayness.
FML. :(

Funny SMS dialogue between my BF and me today:
Me: -_- I dio bird shit. SMLJ!! :(
BF: Oo" *strangles the bird for you* good morning =P
It made me chuckle while celebrating my Granny's birthday. :)

Sitting on the pole is a real pain in the thighs. And whether I can release my hands are kinda iffy. Like 80% iffy. Oh well, I'll work on it in Pole Practice tomorrow! *excited*

Oh and Sunita 2 (IDK their last names so I'm just going by 1 and 2 lol) was so cute cos she said 'We'll be awesome partners FOREVERRRRRRRRR~'! Hahaha awesome possum.

Beginner POLE Lesson 6

WHAT WHAT WHAAAAAAAT?!
Jasmine wasn't around today so Sharlene took over our class.
... I think they didn't communicate well on where we had stopped last so it was an awfully confusing day for all of us.

Flexibility (Taken by Cristal/Crystal):
Was so damn tiring!
Jumping Jacks, skipping, hopping, push ups, and shitloads of stretching including arm stretches.
Okay, I finally found a part of my body that is flexible- that is my joints. My muscles are still terribly stiff though, especially the inner part of my right leg because of the old injury. :(
Did some lying down butterflies today, phwoar I can no longer open up to reach my knees to the ground, my pelvis and my injury hirt like a bitch.
Sitting split was fine, still around 120 degrees.
My splits are still about 7-8 inches off the floor.

New moves learnt:
Kate Moss + Turnabout Pose + Knee Spin

Completely changed full choreography:
Pole Walk (R, L) holding pole at face level, bent arms.
Body Roll X3 (Once, then double time)
Hip Roll
Lie on left side, pull right leg to ear
Roll to left, cat pounce
Head roll (Half, L to R)
Cross arms, lean back
Stripper get-up
Knee Spin to back of pole
Hip roll
Step left, hit butt X4 (L X2, R X2)
Stroke leg down + Hair Flip up
Spin Climb + Lean out, to left of pole, Body Roll out of landing
Swap Poles
Kate Moss + Turnabout Pose at front of pole
Pole slide with R leg raised
Head roll (Half, L to R)
Move to face right, beach babe pose
Roll left onto front, sprawl kick (tgt with shoulders) X4
Cat pounce, Stripper get-up
Vanessa to back of pole
Hip roll
Step left, hit butt X4 (L X2, R X2)
Stroke leg down + Hair Flip up
Spin Climb + Lean out, to left of pole Body Roll out of landing
Swap Poles
Kate Moss + Reverse Sliding Vanessa to left of pole
Stripper Get-up + Hair Flip up
Left leg up on pole + Hip Roll
Shake BOOTAY
Jamelia + V get-off
Head Roll (L)
***END***

I think I got it right, but it was pretty rushed so I'm not really too sure.
On a happier note, I managed to do the Sitting V today. Unfortunately not too stable yet because of the condensation from my WARM WARM legs. Going for pole practice on Friday, hope I can do it higher up the pole without falling to my death. :)

It's cold

Sometimes it's when you're sick and cold (not to mention PMS-ey) that you realise your family doesn't fucking give a damn.

SHOPPINGGGGG

OMG. I can't seem to stop doing online shopping.
Bad, bad, Jerina! :(

From the past month till now I've bought/ordered:
CS 88 Shimmer Palette
EOS Contacts (Brown, Violet, Pink, ?? I forgot lol)
Gipsy Scarlet (1 dress, 1 top)
IndieSin (2 belts)
SylviaCole (1 dress, 2 tops <- Just forgot one of them again)
eBay (1 tank top, 1 pair of underwear, 1 pair of stockings, and something else I forgot again =3)
VS Spree (1 pair of shoes, 1 long cardigan)
Masks and Serums (4 Serums + 2 Masks - gifts as well as for myself)

-------------------------------------------------
Total Damage = $738

KILL ME PLEASE T_T

***UPDATE***

WALAO!! I just saw one dress I bought for $22.70 selling at $18.60, a blouse for $23.90 at $18.90, AND another blouse at $21.90 for $18.90 ($18.40 on yet another) on another site! ANNOYING MUCH!!!!! $12 difference leh!!!!!

Lesson learnt. If there are code numbers, GOOGLE the fucking thing before you buy it. But the free courier service is kinda worth it I guess.. *sigh*

F1

COOOOOOOOL.

Met up with the Royal Family for dinner at the old Turf City to have Hokkaido buffet~ It was so damn awesome and cheap too, less than $40 per person! YUMYUMYUM ate till I almost exploded. :D (Ebi Tempura, Sake Sashimi, Chuka Hotate, Salmon head, Clam Miso soup, Saba Teriyaki, Beef Teppenyaki, BBQ Mushrooms, Chawanmushi, Shishamo, Salmon skin, Edamame, and ALOT more other stuff as well as lemon ice cream, vanilla ice cream, ocha and Esprit Raspberry... that was for me alone ^^) .... I feel hungry now, lol.

Headed over to Swissotel to park our car, the Royal Family had free grandstand tickets so they had to get a ticket for me... and *GASP!* EVERY SINGLE TICKET was sold out!! Small wonder though because there were only 2 hours left by the time we arrived. Fortunately there was a white guy selling off his ticket near the counter (he offered us $50), but after some persuasion we managed to get it at $40. :)

The sound of the cars were awesomeeeeee! Except I didn't know there was a survival kit so the noise nearly killed me. It's like one car > club music. When there were two at the same time I nearly went deaf. It was pretty crammed and hot too, I was sweating like crap while we were there.

I was soo jealous of the people watching from the balconies in Swissotel! They could see the whole circuit whereas mere common people like us got to see, like, 20m of road? I was located in between two bends too, so there wasn't much to see.

Anyway we got bored after about an hour and decided the grandstand was too far away to walk to, so we headed back! It sounds uneventful but we had a great time catching up and bonding. I shall go stay over really really soon!

Will upload pics and videos soon. (Pic of me only though, because honestly a digital camera will never be able to capture an F1 car. Not even the hugeass DSLRs managed it!)

SUPER UNGLAM DAY

:(

Unglam 1
I was at the Concorde Hotel foodcourt when the floor was so sticky my slipper got stuck to it and I landed my foot on the sticky floor. EW.

Unglam 2
Washing my foot in the basin inside the school toilet.
(FAMILIAR?!?!)

Unglam 3
Bursting out into laughter inside Centrepoint Robinson's at Li Shan's SMS.
"wah. Your voice v sweet inside the phone lei. I like <<<<3 haha"
LOL CAN!

Unglam 4
Got onto the 190 outside SMU, carrying a 7kg bag, during a red light. Was going to take a seat (near the front where two benches face each other). Halfway in, the bus driver FLOORED the damn accelerator on the green light. I fell onto the guy in front of me, possibly shrieking "OMG SORRY!!" at the same time. When the bus driver heard, he STOMPED on the brakes, causing me to fall on the other two guys behind me. FML. T_T

Okay further elaboration- in order to stop my full body falling on the guy in front of me I used my hands to stop the fall (on his knees I think), then when the driver braked I was like pulling the guy's arm to stop from falling backwards. Which did not help in the least and I think I used my other hand to stop the fall on the other guy's leg/bag. *digs a pit to hide self*

T___________T

Beginner POLE Lesson 5

Flexibility

I SUCK TODAY BUT YEAH BABY YEAH YEAH IMPROVEMENTTTTT WOOHOO!

Maintained my 40 degrees after midpoint today!
(An cutie from prep advance said I was flexibleeeeeeee but WTH?! SERIOUSLY I AM NOT. I was going like OMG I FEEL LIKE I'M GIVING BIRTH throughout the entire process.)

Pulled toes (no heels off today, feeling like crap seriously) but managed to get closer to my knees... closer... someday i'll kiss them @_@

My sitting split without help was terrible, barely made 90 today but managed to pull abit further on my own after a bit of stretching.... ARGH.

Did splits during announcement time, it's getting closer closer closer! A few (less than 10 HAHAHAHA) inches more to goooooooo! Definitely less than a foot now HAHA. (I was really that bad 'cos I haven't stretched for more than 2 yearsssss!!)

New moves learnt:
Knee spin-converted to-Frank
Frank-converted to-Knee spin
Kate moss + backward sliding Vanessa + stripper get up
The move that I forgot the name of but is ridiculously hard on my handicapped left wrist- Intermediate move (Starts with a G?)
(When Jasmine explained how to do this, there was this ang mor who went like 'Are you CRAZY?!?!' HAHAHA PRICELESS!)
Fan kick
(I can't do this for nuts, seems like my abs aren't strong enough... SHAME ON ME!)

Added dance choreography:
Vanessa
Butt gyrate
Hit butt L 2x, R 2x
Stroke leg down + hair flip up
(It's a repeat of prior moves)
Kate moss + reverse sliding Vanessa + stripper get up

AHAHAHA. So happy that I can do the move that I forgot the name of.
^_^V TWIST! I think I'm high.

Weird

Funny how feelings and moods can change in a day.

I wonder if the distancing will stop...

I hope this will be over soon.

Meant to be

My BF has been away on detachment and will be until the end of October.

I was miserable about it since we first got to know, and whenever I told my good friends or family how I felt about it, the thing in common they all told me was, "Take this as a test, and hope that you can pull through it together."

I guess I must have really changed because I don't really feel that it's a test at all. I mean sure, I miss him like crazy (I mean, look at the post that I update EVERDAY and my MSN personal message), but I don't really have the tendency to DO STUPID SHIT anymore, just to stop the emptiness when he's not around.
(I'm sure all my good friends know what I mean.. I'm not proud of what I used to be.)

Before he left I already knew he was awesome and definitely the guy I'd want to be with for the rest of my life. We're engaged after all. :)

But what this detachment has done is to make me realise that he is not just awesome, I don't know what's the word for this- better than awesome? Perfect? I can't find a term to describe it. I'd have to say, something like the most sparkling gem ever. If he were a diamond he'd be D coloured, FL clarity and perfectly cut, with every facet reflecting every single ray of light back at you.

OKAY, before anyone starts puking I'm gonna leave it at that. What I'm trying to say here is, without situations like what we've been through the last two weeks, I would never have known or expected that our relationship can be taken to greater heights and our love would grow even more, even when we're not together physically.

What I'm feeling now is more than I can express in words. All I know is I've fallen head over heels in love, over and over again everyday, and loving you more every day.

Just some thoughts

Years and years ago I have had wanted to go into exotic dancing. I had first thought of joining exotic dance classes at Jitterbugs with my sista Jesxeca (that was 5 years ago).

This year I finally got the opportunity to go for dance classes. I had initially wanted to go to Groove for my pole dancing lessons because I saw their advertising on FB, but after doing some research I remembered Jitterbugs, so I called them up but they didn't have any pole dance classes! They directed me to Bobbi's Pole Studio.

Perhaps it was because Groove's schedule was too messy and BPS's had a much clearer one, or because BPS had better prices, but whatever the reason was, I just had a strong feeling to join BPS. That was before I even watched their videos on Youtube! After making my decision, I watched the videos, and I offically became a fan of Bobbi.

I must say I didn't regret it (starting pole dancing and joining BPS) at all, it's been the most fun thing to do by myself since I stopped going for TKD training. :)
There are awesome teachers and awesome classmates and the most awesome founder/master instructor in the world. She was super friendly when I went for her workshop! After she heard me squeal like a fangirl and took photos together, she went like "Ohh I love coming down here, you girls are all so awesome!" and then gave me a squeeze. AWWW!

Umm, and I'm kinda glad I didn't join Groove, 'cos I just saw Ris Low's interview on XinMSN and......... for a level 4 she pretty much sucks ass. Every move she did looked like a terrible struggle on the pole for her. And her pole climb and sit is a joke, my classmates did better than that on their first tries! -_____-"

Anyway I think she's damn overrated and overused for advertising. Even though I don't personally dislike her. I've done a shoot with her before in 2008, before she got famous... But she was already coming in late at that time! CONFIRM is her man, no mistake. =X

Abrupt end to this post, I have no idea why I wanted to write about this in the first place... Must be spending too much time alone. :(

Area 51

Just saw their advertisement on FB as a female-fronted Visual Kei band.
... Okay. IMHO, my favourite band Alice Nine members (male) all look better without make-up. ARGH.

SLAP Workshop by Bobbi!

*SQUEALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL*

I got to meet my idol and take photos with her!! I'm lazy to upload the pics though :P I went totally gaga when I managed to talk to her, I went like "OMG YOU ARE SO AWESOMEEEEEEE I WATCHED ALL YOUR VIDEOSSSSS!" *starry eyed*

..... Diu lian to the max. Haha!

Anyway, the workshop was really different even from the warm-up. It was tougher than usual, I got tired before we even reached halfway through the warm up! And I realised Bobbi's taste in music is the same as mine.. Awesomeee!

The workshop was an ADVANCED strip and lapdance (I didn't know that would happen when I signed up, I almost died seriously) so..... I now have a total count of 20 bruises and almost sprained my ankle, and almost broke my neck. Seriously, that's more bruises than I used to get from sparring without guards! Pfft.

The choreography:

HOW TO REMEMBER RIGHT WTFOMGBBQ I KEEP SCREWING UP SOBSOB AND IM AFRAID OF FALLING OFF THE CHAIR WHEN WE HAVE TO PUT OUR LEGS ON THE BACK OF IT!!!!! BOOOOOOHOO. :(
And I don't have the strength yet to do that low boobie thing nicely. Damnit!

Beginner POLE Lesson 4

WHOA. It's lesson 4 already! O_O

Flexibility
Didn't get to warm up before class today 'cos there was a workshop! BUT~
Did the Plank for more than 1 minute! *fluffs hair*
I think I did 40-50 degrees past the halfway point today, my partner wasn't really forcing me all the way though.
I can pull my toes and get my heels off the floor!
(Have to admit it hurts like crap though)
My split without help early on in the lesson was already at about 100 degrees, with an old injury flaring ^_^
Getting better at back arch! Still can't walk my hands in yet though..

New moves learnt:
Frank + variations
(Not strong enough to do the chio style yet)
Sitting V
(No idea what it's called so I named it myself, and I haven't succeeded at this yet due to my damn sweaty palms. Still, we only managed to try once...)
Pole climb!

Hmm, not too pleased with myself today 'cos I didn't manage to get the sitting V yet, and I think my spin climb isn't pretty. As well as my pole slide and hair/head flips. At the rate we're going, we'll all have strong neck muscles really really soon!

I'm kinda nervous too, only 3 more practices before performance night!
.___.

P.S. They mentioned something about costumes! I didn't know we were getting costumes! I think mine might be a little big though..... But still! *SQUEALS*

P.P.S. Chey. It's a colour scheme lah! Beginners are supposed to wear red and black.. *stops squealing*
And my class instructor was damn cute lah. We met on opposite stairways coming up to the 2nd floor, then she went like "Wow, look at those legs.. Must be a Bobbi student!" Hahaha!

Beautiful

I saw a beautiful girl in Zirca. She wasn't dressed skimpily or sluttily like the other girls, she wasn't even made up much. But her features were delicate and beautiful. She was shy initially but later on I saw her dancing well. Unfortunately she didn't seem much disposed to make friends with me. :( What's wrong with making more girl friends in clubs? It's not like I'm a lesbian waiting to rape her or something. Damnit.

Beginner POLE Lesson 3

Flexibility:
Did some Pilates.. Almost broke my back and died.
Definitely went past the halfway point by about 30 degrees!! ^_^
I CAN touch my toes.
My split while sitting went beyond 120 degrees. And had some help from my partner and instructor, managed to reach quite far (for my standard, about 45 degrees to the floor or more) as well!
Did KILLER leg lifts as well. OUCH MY TUMMY.

New moves learnt:
Vanessa slide down + stripper get up
Spin climb
Hair flip/head roll

Added choreography:
Beach babe pose
Roll left + left hair flip
Sprawling leg kick x4
Stripper get up

My noob spin climb makes me spin round so fast that I can't get off at the right time for the next move and makes me walk dizzily during the pole exchange. Bah!

Once again... FAT OR SKINNY?!?!

I think I've done a post about this before, a couple of years ago or maybe last year.

See, I have a problem, which is called having small and light bones. As a result, no matter how much meat I stack on, people will still describe me as 'small and SKINNY'.

But I had a growth spurt recently which led to me adding 5cm to my height and being wider around the shoulders and hips... To the extent that my old wardrobe no longer fits me and I have to change to an entirely new one, except for those clothes that used to be too big and now fit perfectly. -_-

I have also gained 4kg due to the increase in size and of course my monstrous non-stop chomping... which leads to more meat on me everywhere.

Even then, people who just meet me are still calling me skinny! And small! BUT YET, I can no longer fit into size S shorts... Can't even zip it up! If I'm small, what size do 'normal' people wear?

So tell me... Am I FAT OR SKINNY now?!?!
*looks down at bulge forming over too-small size S shorts and sighs*

What the Koala does without its Tree

Attempted to mug for DTA while msn-ing, facebook-ing, bbm-ing, sms-ing and weeping.
Mr Low cheered me up a little by telling me I topped the cohort of CTA participants..
Was moodless and didn't have appetite all day.

Saturday, 4 Sept 2010
Went to work at Comex.. Took the long-ass way around to City Hall 'cos the JE station connection to Clementi was disrupted for the weekend.
Had a terrible day with the I*****s but made an awesome new friend, Li Shan.
Pretty awesome chat over supper after work with Softgay and Noobgary. Thanks guys for being there for me and sending me home. :)

Sunday, 5 Sept 2010
Worked at Comex again, this time I got so mad I ticked off a 'customer'. I seriously think there's a 'syndicate' to get as many freebies as they can! RAWRRRRR.
Went to dabao supper after work because I was ravenously hungry after 11 hours of no food. Bumped into Jereme and his friend Ambrose at the kopitiam, and they very kindly offered to send me home.
OMG THE AUDIIIIIII!!!! I could hug it to sleep! >.<

Monday, 6 Sept 2010
Went for my dental at VivoCity, was done pretty quick so I had a couple of hours to kill before I could meet Amber after her course. Went on a shopping spree in Daiso for about an hour and bought lots of tidbits, canned food, stationery and other miscellaneous items. Total damage $28 only! (14 items)

(Oh, as a side note, I've finished my course of aligners!! But my teeth aren't completely straight yet so I need to go for some refinement..... Hm...)

Rotted around near the exit to the Sentosa Monorail and checked out the packages... They don't seem nearly as fun as the one I got in 2008 with Kenny.. And there are lots of new stuff that I'm totally not interested in. The Segway ride for example. For some reason the name reminds me of a sewage treatment company. -_-

Met Amber at the Bugis OG and we went for dinner at Lai Lai! Yummy yummy beef soup! Except for the mixed up order at the start the rest was awesome. For some reason I ate very very very fast.

Went to do shopping in Bugis Street! I swear I'll never shop in Orchard again.. Faggot sia I feel so cheated when I find the exact same damn thing for like half the price in Bugis Street. *growls*
Anyway, bought a shitload of stuff there.. Two dresses and two pairs of shorts, can't remember what else at the moment. Ran outta cash, went to draw money then ended up being lazy and having supper at Toast Box while Amber had her Matcha red bean ice cream thingy.

OH! I bumped into Crystal from dance class in Vivo and Pris at Bugis Street! She was like "OMG I thought you're wearing heels!! Why does your puberty never end?!?!" Make me damn happy leh! Kekeke.

Went home happy after supper, took 960 to Amber's place then transferred 190 home. :)

Tuesday, 7 Sept 2010
Groggily got up for school, fell asleep a couple of times in class.
Met my cousin Daniel for lunch at Orchard Central's Ajisen and went on a tour around the place along with 313, Cine and Heeren. (My cousin's from Malaysia so he hasn't explored yet.) Had lychee yoghurt ice cream with strawberries at Cine!

He had to go home to rest for work tomorrow so I went to meet my awesome sista Jesxeca for dinner. Went to chillax at Centrepoint Starbucks 'cos the dinner place wasn't open yet and we had a great catch-up session. I seriously miss meeting her! We used to spend almost everyday together and even went overseas together, but this is the first time I've met her in almost 2 years!

She brought me to this place behind Cuppage Plaza for ramen dinner; it was pretty good but unfortunately my tummy was apparently unhappy with the type of milk used in the caramel coffee jelly frappucino (!!! I remember the name NOW, but couldn't at the counter just now, wtf) I had earlier on, so I was awfully bloated and uncomfortable and couldn't finish it up.

Went to buy a new bikini (!!!!!!! YESHHHHHH) at Orchard Central before heading home! Awesome awesome day spent with awesome people. :)

Wednesday, 8 Sept 2010
Hm.. Shall not blog about it just yet. :P
Suffice to say I ended up at Backpackers Inn for the night!
(Just to clarify, with Amber not with random guys.)

Scary ass photo :)

Gonna change my blog header photo to this scary ass photo taken during a photoshoot and photoshopped to death by the photographer, in which I look like an evil elven archer or something. :D

43. I love the way you said, "Miss you is only two words. But there are so many feelings involved."
44. You broke a promise today. I don't love you anymore.
Fine, I still do. -_-
I love the way, even when you're tired out from work you still spoil me by doing stuff like giving me a backrub.. It should be the other way round!
45. I can't say I love, but I find it cute.. How being away from each other made us so grumpy we've been having disagreements for ages. We shall work harder!
46. I love you so much that I didn't even realise how badly my mood has been affected by your absence. We're going good.. 10 more days!

Just started a new beginners' course of pole as well as flexibility! Hope that someday I will be able to blog about being in the advanced course. :D It was really really fabulous, with good work outs and stretching and of course awesome girl friends! :)

Flexibility Lesson 1:
PURE TORTURE. It's the first time anyone said I was flexible though... The class instructor was going to dislocate my leg. Maybe I don't show pain on my face anymore after Taekwondo. >.<

MAPLEH MAPLEH~!!

Wahaha! Don't know why I am so high now. I am *SURE* it has nothing to do with just reaching level 110 in MapleStory. ><

Uhh, so yeah. My beloved managed to psycho me to play MapleStory again in Delphinus... and err, actually, he has made life really easy for me in here especially for levelling fast.

Let's take a look at the timeline:

Day 1- Creation to Level 8
Day 2- Level 8 to 24
Day 3- Level 24 to 30
Day 4- Level 30 to 51
*One week hiatus due to work, leveled to 53 by BF*
Day 5- Level 53 to 81 with 2x EXP
Day 6- Level 81 to 112 with 2x EXP
*One week hiatus due to going to JB, leveled to 114 by BF*
Day 7- Level 114 to 132 with 2x EXP
Day 8- Hunt for Skill Book Quest, leveled to 133 :)
Day 9- Level 133 to 140 with 2x EXP
Day 10 & 11- Level 140 to 151 with 2x EXP
Day 12- Level 151 to 154 with 2x EXP
Day 13- Level 154 to 156 with 2x EXP

So technically I took about 6-7 days to reach Level 110.
Fast right?!?!?!
I can't believe I took like 9 months to reach Level 105 in Aquila... BAH.
What an effing waste of time. It's so much more fun here!
Some more the items and potions are all sponsored by my beloved.. AWW. Thanks so much for making my damage so awesome! ^_^

Nuuuuuu! It's over! :'(

This is the job that I've been happiest at since Cannla! And it really sucks that it's over and everyone is leaving Singapore tonight. :(

I'm gonna miss everyone!

Even though it was just a short event (with shitty pay, I might add), I managed to pick up more Japanese, learnt about their products and made lots of new friends. And they invited us (Jolene and me) to work again next year! WEEEEEE!

As a sidenote, I find it unusual that in such a large and crowded place like Expo, people can recognise me after just one meeting. Do I look like an alien? :S

CommunicAsia!

Went to work at the CommunicAsia event! Day 1 was yesterday (15 June 2010) and I'll be there till Friday (18 June 2010).

What can I say... It's SOOO awesome working there! I'm working under Sumitomo Electronics and there are colleagues from JAPAN, Malaysia, Vietnam, and of course Singapore. Everyone's so so so nice, friendly, polite and awesome! Why can't Singaporeans be more like that?

Anyway, I need to whine a bit about Expo- after all, professionals from all over the world come to Expo for all sorts of events and exhibitions.

Firstly, Expo is a place with capacity for thousands and thousands of people- I bet one hall contains hundreds of staff and thousands of visitors. And there are only TWO cubicles in the washrooms located outside every hall. WTF?

Secondly, the design of the exterior of the foodcourt sucks. It is 'sheltered' from the sun but not the rain, and when it rains it causes all those tables (which number more than those inside the foodcourt) to be unavailable for use. And you can't even make it into the foodcourt from the exhibition halls without getting wet!

Thirdly (Seriously, do I even need to go on? The above two are already enough to disgrace Singapore!), the air-conditioning inside the exhibition halls are CRAZY MAD POWERFUL. It's colder than an ice-skating rink in there! I mean come on, not every exhibition or event has the PC Show kind of crowd! Can't there be any flexibility in the temperature??

With the whining aside, the tradeshow is still great fun to work at. :D
I LOVEEEEEEEE MY COLLEAGUES! :D:D

P.S. And isn't weird that I'm so used to heels that I felt better in heels today than in flats yesterday? -_-

MY HAIRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Crap, I realised it's been so long and I really really need to catch up with my updates.

I've been really sick of having to touch up my hair colour every 2-3 months (sick of means broke, of course.....) so I decided to do it in a dark colour! My perm also tends to look shitty and messy really fast since my hair grows and straightens so fast... So I decided to have it straight again.

The above mentioned decisions of course resulted in me looking like a little kid all over again, also thanks to my dearest hairdresser giving me curved bangs along with the little kid hairstyle. DAMNIT!

I'm giving myself one month to grow back some fringe and switch to a scene hairstyle. Anyway I love my hair colour, which is violet brown with a streak of purple. But I'm guessing it will fade real fast cos of my bleached hair. Sighs~

On a side note, while my dearest was helping me pack the cupboard in my room we found *BLACK* hair in it. That's like all the way from 2008!!! *hangs head in shame*

Citi Forex Challenge!

31 October 2009

It was on freaking Halloween! Hence my non-existent Halloween celebrations last year.
Anyway I had a bad experience in 2008...

So, Citi Forex Challenge!

It was held at Millenia Walk last year (not sure about the previous years).

Photobucket

The usual team- Jasmine, Kai Ting, Lian Bei and me!
(I have the whitest hand as pointed out by Jasmine, LOL)

Photobucket

That's not us, but where the action is!

Photobucket

OMG! All of us got in!
(I think our teacher wasn't very happy about me and Lian Bei getting in, cuz we're not TOP TRADERS...)

Photobucket

YEAYEAYEA! Happy!
Oh BTW I wore a t-shirt, shorts and slippers cos it'd only be like 10 minutes if I didn't get in... and then I had to hang around for hours in MW in that attire.
-____-

Photobucket

Class photo!

Photobucket

Wrong team-mates, but because of the height problem we have to pose like that!

Photobucket

Free lunch!

Photobucket

That's us in the finals!
Spot me spot me hehehe.

Photobucket

Mr Cheong being so GAN CHIONG. HAHAHA.

Photobucket

This picture made me realise I had to do something about my hair colour....
We're looking very calm here but actually we were screaming at each other non-stop!

Photobucket

Photobucket

We didn't win anything, LAH.

Photobucket

Our lecturers came down to support us!
The ang mor is one of the CitiBank representatives.

Photobucket

So proud of our classmates, Calister and Henry for winning 3rd place!

Randomness with SuperCherry

26 September 2009

Seems like I was sick on that day so SuperCherry made sick food for me.

Photobucket

Porridge with scallops!

*****

2 October 2009

Ding Tai Fung at Junction 8!

We went there before a BBQ at SuperCherry's rich colleague's house...
Cos we were already so damn hungry!

Photobucket

Where's ma food!

Photobucket

My bigass bowl of beef soup.

Photobucket

Our Xiao Long Bao!
Why only 5 left?
Cos I'm a greedy guts and was munching away until I remembered to take pics...
As usual ><

*****

16 October 2009

SuperCherry always wanted to bring WonderPrawn to Brewerkz at the Indoor Stadium after going there with his colleagues... So there we went on a warm warm Friday.

Photobucket

I realise SuperCherry only takes passable photos of me when I'm drinking (?!)

I think I was so hungry that I didn't manage to get pictures of what we had... If I remember correctly it was some badly grilled beef which is nothing to shout about. Blahness.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

It's size is impressive but not its taste...
*shivers at own cold joke*
I didn't bother to finish it. Tasted like crap.

I can safely say I won't be back at Brewerkz at Kallang... It's hot as hell, bad food and bad service!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Best pictures I could get outside Brewerkz.
I didn't even do anything with the camera, it was on IA mode.

Is it any wonder why I got a B for my TREP (Photography) GEMS?

Photobucket

That's a shitload of chefs. O_O

EH?! I just realise I didn't get any food pics. Aiya, it's always the same lah, beef soup and xiao long bao lor. =D

Jerina's COOKING?! O_O

28 September 2009

You saw that right!

I suddenly got bitten by the baking bug because I love cakes and desserts but they are all so freaking expensive outside!

SO, I did some research online to find recipes that are easy and yet don't require having an oven.

Most recipes which are labelled 'easy' are totally not easy for beginners, or else they need shitloads of ingredients not readily available from places like NTUC (Cold Storage is much better stocked).

The first recipe I tried is from Easy Lunch Box Recipes.

Photobucket

Steamed Egg Cakes!

I made the choice to hand beat the eggs and sugar which was a mistake (unless you want to train your arms, then go right ahead) cos it takes frigging 20 minutes to get it to the right stage! And even then I wasn't sure whether it was the right stage cos I'm a noob... I just gave up cos I was damn tired lah.

But it turned out pretty okay though a bit heavy. Heh.

The Emperor does a better job, he took over once I screwed up the microwave with my next two tries (which were obviously misses since I'm not posting them up hahaha). Blah.

*****

30 September 2009

My next wild success (YES it was, SuperCherry finished it in like 30 seconds) was taken from Held by Love, Baked from Scratch.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Banana Buttermilk Pancakes!

... Okay lah, I cheated... I only mixed the batter then the Empress helped me do the frying. Cos we only have 2 frying pans, one is %^&*ing heavy and the other can't really balance... So we had to have some *ahem* teamwork lah.

Which involves me watching and the Empress frying. HAHAHA.

But it's madly deliciously yummy... I might make it again soon. :D

SuperCherry's Birthday Celebration (2009)

19 September 2009

From what I can remember, I didn't start the day early... I only joined SuperCherry at his house for the preparations because I'm SO not a morning person. But it's been half a year so I seriously can't remember lah!

We took Pig Pig's car because he was overseas at the time... Did the usual stuff- marinate, pack, buy satay, otah, and then hit the pit at Sembawang Park!

Photobucket

There's Candy Bear handling the bacon.

Photobucket

Big Bear hard at work peng-ing food, Baby Bear hard at work eating... and Soon Aik hard at work watching. Hahaha cold joke lah, not in a good mood today...
-_-

Photobucket

Ooh, we were at Pit 10.. Lucky I was boliao enough to take this picture?

Photobucket

That's us in happier times...

Photobucket

BACON!!! O_O

Photobucket

I still can't believe these two are brothers sometimes.

Photobucket

It's so bloody hot there we need all these to keep cool... Especially when Big Bear is handling the BBQ fire (hint: with a flametorch).

Photobucket

SEE!! The flame damn huge with all the bacon oil dripping around!

Photobucket

Our first kills. Hehehehe.

Photobucket

HuiHui and the Goldfish arrives!

Photobucket

Jia Ping and Don at their own private corner in the shelter. (:
It's been quite a while since we've met...

Photobucket

Best drinker award goes to Zhong Han!
The dude is CRAZY.

Photobucket

Class photo- DCNT 3B??
I forgot the class, heh paiseh!

Photobucket

JB and WonderPrawn after drinking a bit too much Martell...

Photobucket

Wei Rong and WonderPrawn...
OMG my face was so red!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Damn GAY!

Photobucket

This is me after getting totally wasted.
I don't even remember taking this picture!

BWAHAHA. Whatever lah!
