Happy Lunar New Year!!

Hmm. Left off blogging for ONE WEEK...
This post was started on 29th January and it is now 9th March.
So it's more like I left off blogging for more than a month.
WTF!

Friday

Screwed my Visual Basic test pretty bad due to my less than perfect logic (in the programming sense); I was screwed up over the calculations for more than an hour (the test was 1 hour 20 minutes, plus I was late).

TA was 'fantastic' as usual. Our tutor was half an hour late, talked about TOTALLY unrelated topics before launching into an explanation about parabolics which could have taken ten minutes, but he took ONE HOUR, told us to take a break while talking about unrelated topics for another half an hour BEFORE he told us there was nothing else. All in all he took up the whole two hours when he could have taken ten minutes. And it's always like that. GRR.

I had to rush off after TA to continue packing for my annual CNY pilgrimage to JB.

SuperCherry managed to dash over to meet me after knocking off. I'm so glad for that, because almost ever since I got to know him we've never been apart for more than 48 hours. The thought of spending CNY without SuperCherry for 5 days was making me mopey already.

The King picked me up after work at about 8PM ... And there was no traffic jam into JB, surprisingly. The Queen had lovingly prepared my favourite CNY food: we had salted duck & lap cheong rice for dinner! As in COOKED TOGETHER, not just rice and dishes- it makes all the difference and it's REALLY hard to cook!

I have forgotten what happened in the month or so of MIA-ness, but I remember what happened during CNY at least, so let's see...

Before the Eve of Lunar New Year (24th Jan)

The Royal Family brought me to a porridge steamboat for dinner.
OOOOOOOOO. It isn't as icky as it seems! The food was really good...
But because I was still ill I puked it all back up at night.
Damn, what a waste of good food. =(

Eve of Lunar New Year

Everyone has reunion dinner on this day right?

But not everyone has it in a restaurant-cum-pub-cum-mosh pit.

Anyway, I was seated right in front of the speaker on an upper floor, not to mention it was RAINING and I was mightily pissed off due to the wetness and the extreme noise.

The Emperor called me halfway through the din and I had to scream to made myself heard- even then not that well. My ears seriously seriously hurt from that fucking place. And I bet we're going back next year again because SOME PEOPLE like that place. DAMNIT.

My cousin was observing me throughout the whole fiasco. I was totally unable to concentrate on anything at all and wasn't eating. The food was terrible too anyway, so it wasn't a waste.

... Actually I'm going to stop blogging about this right now cuz thinking about it makes my ears hurt. FUCK.

Lunar New Year: Day 1

I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS go to my god-grandparents' house on the first day of CNY.
... Not because I'm a very filial god-grand daughter (come on, I see them every so often), but because on that day about a hundred people come to the house and it's the best time to collect the CNY "tolls" for entering the house.

Grr. What a tactic to escape giving red packets. Pure rudeness right! It's supposed to be a goodwill thing mar, recession then give less lor! Not like they usually give a lot anyway (sometimes got 2RM one), but it's a... kind of tradition ma! SO RUDE!
URGH.

We were all bothered and annoyed by 3PM so we didn't visit any other places where we probably wouldn't get our red packets anyway (HMPH). I went home sulkily with the Royal Family... And cheered up when they brought me for a Korean BBQ dinner.

Yippee! The food is always good in JB, I always gain weight when I get back.

Oh, and the owner is such a nice guy. He totally would do ANYTHING for us! Great service! Too bad I don't know where it is, or else I would recommend people to go there to eat! The food is damn delicious. The beef is totally melt in the mouth even though it's BBQ-ed as well.

Lunar New Year: Day 2

Went out with my god-cousins to catch a movie at Tebrau City. They decided to watch Underworld 3... Which was pretty good, but shouldn't it be Underworld 1? It makes the timeline so confusing for those who didn't watch the first two movies. -_-

Oh, we had KFC before the movie. KFC in JB has an extra piece of bun! O_O

Totally wasted

Not on drinks but on medication.

My bloody influenza virus came back and socked me right in my tummy... So I've got something like stomach flu now but it's not that crippling (yet).

Let's skip the weekend because I think I spent it sleeping off my 'flu.

Monday

Reached school at 9.30AM for an 8AM lesson that I didn't know about. I think I moaned and griped my way through the rest of school... Don't remember ANYTHING about Monday.

Tuesday

Late as usual for FF lesson and blahblah the usual. BUT WAIT! It's different this time cuz the SCHOOL BAZAAR is here again! I went crazy and bought 3 pairs of falsies plus the applicator cuz I have bloody shaky hands which are NOT GOOD when you wanna get the damn things on within 2 minutes or less. -_-

Got the case of the pukies after dinner thanks to the bloody stomach flu so I had to see the doctor AGAIN and got an MC AGAIN. I didn't even have to ask for it, it was that bad.

Wednesday

Was spent in misery sleeping and *attempting* to study for TA. In vain.

Today

Didn't feel well enough to make it through the entire day in school so I *attempted* to study for TA until it was time to leave for the damn test. How the hell do you study when you have felt drunk for the entire week? =(

And I kinda screwed up the charts. Fuck that. Some people were cheating and I feel kinda BUAY SONG. Cuz if you didn't study you just screw up. Don't cheat. It's so... I dunno. Zz.

Okay I got a fucking headache right now so I'll go and try to cram for my 30% Visual Basic ICA tomorrow. T_T

Okay, I haven't been updating for the longest time ever...

Because I was sick the whole of last week and spent it sleeping. I swear.
I went to the doctor on Thursday night and the medicine he prescribed just makes me sleep non stop. =(

I only went to school last Tuesday because I was gonna do my hair after school with my brother, but I fell asleep in each lecture many many times and looked terribly unglamourous with all my nodding-offs.

It was back to the grind this week, and I am so proud to say I MADE IT TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY! =D

Skipping the usual school stuff, here's the updates! =)

Monday

Ponteng-ed FMKT lecture and MA2 tutorial to go shopping!

It was a very very sudden and spontaneous decision because I went out with a classmate whom I've never even talked to much before! We just found out that we stay near each other and neither of us wanted to stay for the rest of the day but we didn't want to go straight home either; so it was to town for us!

Surprisingly the dude (YT) is pretty good at shopping for girl stuff, because he used to accompany his mum for hours and hours. He didn't get bored and in fact was very helpful in looking around and giving comments.

Went to meet SuperCherry after that and had oxtail stew at Secret Recipe (OMG they have nice cake damnit, I WANT!!!!!) before our usual dinner at his house. We're such pigs! =X

Tuesday

Did UCCD project in the main library after school. Imagine a mock presentation in the library PC zone?!?! -_______- ness. Some more my secondary school mate was sitting so near us. -________-||||

Wednesday

SI GARY pangseh me for shopping AGAIN (HOW MANY TIMES ALREADY HURRRR!!!) so my companion for the day was Wei Leen! =D

He brought a 'fashion consultant' aka shopping king along and the guy's named Jason. Wei Leen attempted to sabotage Jason by telling me he'll model the dresses I choose if I take the fashion consultant's deluxe plan. DUH.

I think we walked almost the entire Orchard Road that day la. I totally felt like dying and had to take a break when we reached FEP (we started out from Cineleisure).

We took a break at the middle eastern food place in FEP and suddenly everyone had to split; SuperCherry knocked off on time, Jason had to go to work, and Wei Leen had to go meet his friend. O_O

I continued my shopping with SuperCherry and we got matching shirts! I FINALLY fulfilled my dream of getting a guy's shirt. BWAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHHA. =D

Thursday

I went straight to SuperCherry's house to crash after school. Shopping after schooling is tiring okay! Stupid heavy books in my bag. T_T

Friday

Was supposed to meet up with Pris for more shopping but I forgot SuperCherry had dinner plans with the boys so I ended up pangseh-ing (SO SORRY LAOPO) Pris. T_T

Met SuperCherry at Suntec then went to the Central where we met Goldfish and his girl but they were LATE plus hunting for an ATM and I was starving and grumpy so SuperCherry brought me to go eat first. Heh...

It was Fine Cuts for dinner again~ We redeemed our Christmas voucher for a veal steak plus got another cut of Black Angus rib-eye to share. Actually the baby cow tastes better. I feel so guilty though....

We were halfway through our meal when Goldfish and HH arrived...

And they were almost done with their meal when PigPig arrived...

And 4 of us finished our meals by the time JB arrived and went to order with PigPig so we all ended up watching them eat. Tsktsk.

They all had to split after eating so we just took a walk and hitched a ride to Dover with PigPig before taking a train home.

Tada. End of story.

School

Is where I went today, waking up at the unearthly hour of 8AM... Because I wanted to accompany SuperCherry for a dip (not a swim) in the school pool after his usual soccer.

Yep, so yours truly rotted in school from about 10AM to 1PM+ while reading and playing phone games until- WHEE, the boys are done chasing their soccer ball. =D

I'm a prawn which doesn't know how to swim so SuperCherry attempted to make me learn again, in vain. We ended up being the only ones in the pool cuz... I guess it was cold and the boys don't like being cold or something.

Ooh, I saw the SPTKDC people training today. It's so interesting seeing that someone has apparently taken over the training and is acting like a boss. A bitchy one at that.

Saw some old friends too! Kinda miss the times. No, actually I miss training badly... But because of my job/old injuries/someone who likes to hate me/something that happened, I guess it's still the best to leave things as they are.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Is my reaction when I came home today. The Emperor cooked the smelliest concoction (to me) AGAIN! Pureed garlic and ginger or something like that. It stinked so bad that I took a less-than-5-minute shower when I can usually go close to one hour.

And I thought I had the worst just now when I went to the kopitiam toilet with the spoilt flush after binging on seafood and beer. EEWWWWW.

Anyway, updates for yesterday!

Got back quite good results (for Visual Basic 97!! and TA 100!! <- SuperCherry wrote this okay) so I'm quite happy!

And I went to meet SuperCherry after school... I have a great new place to wait out where I can sit and play games on my phone without having to get pissed off about waiting while lugging a huge and heavy bag around! =D

Plus he finally gave in to me and we had our dinner at Tony Roma's! =D

We shared a yummy ribs and steak set - I think SuperCherry is forced into the medium rare ribeye steak everytime cuz we tend to share and swap our dishes. Hehe!

Saturday

SuperCherry and WonderPrawn slept in late again today then decided to head out for a seafood dinner with JB (again). But this time is different......... Cuz my big brother went along too! =D

The Prince thought the seafood we were going to order wouldn't be filling and he was starving so he went ahead to order hokkien mee first... To his regret when we ordered second servings of stingray and extra seafood after the first round! =P

We were totally binging- just four of us, and we had: cockles, stingray (x2), la-la, tsuk-tsuk, gong-gong (don't know why they have to be called such cute names, I always thought gong-gong is only what people describe me -__-), rice, 3 glasses of sugarcane with lemon, and I don't know how many bottles of beer. I'm guessing six cuz the Prince didn't want to drink and I was exploding from the sugarcane and the boys were exploding from the food. ARGH.

They've all got beer bellies by the way. I'm going to laugh at them when they go for IPPT and BOING their way through it. =X

Of course, with all that drink we all had to visit the toilet a couple of times... I shan't go into detail but I can safely say I survived it.

...... To my dismay, an even more evil and powerful smell hit me when I arrived home. (Refer to above mentioned garlic-ginger concoction.)

Apart from forcing me to take a five minute shower to prevent vomiting my guts out, I also had to cover up my nose whenever I left my room, spray my favourite perfume in my room repeatedly (with door closed AND air-con on!), I gagged repeatedly while brushing my teeth cuz I have no choice but to breathe through my nose... And felt nauseous for the entire day after. (Cos this is a backdated entry and it's actually SUNDAY now.)

I'm so anti-garlic right now. Keep it away from me or I'll start vomiting all over you. Grrr.

It's Thursday and it's a holiday! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Cuz I really hate school days on Thursday. Almost all the lessons have that fantastic ponability that gives me a huge dilemma every Thursday morning- to go or not to go? (Shakespear fans get the pun?)

I slept in while SuperCherry went to assist the Emperor with giving the Concubine a makeover. I admire his guts, because I would never do that for fear of being beheaded if I accidentally injure the Concubine in any way.

When they were done, we headed to SuperCherry's house for CURRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Yum yum. Love his mum's cooking! =D

Well now SuperCherry's knocked out after lugging buckets of water around for my dad so I'm gonna find other methods of entertainment. *sobs* So lonely on New Year's day! =P Hehe, just kidding!
